Title I

Strategically support students from low-income backgrounds to be positioned in meeting challenging state academic standards.

How to Use Funds for SyncEd

  • Increases differentiation of Tier 1 and Tier 2 instruction, ensuring every student receives instruction tailored to their needs.
  • Equips teachers with real-time, meaningful data to share with intervention specialists, parents, and administrators—helping schools make data-informed instructional plans more efficiently.
  • Helps teachers identify and address learning gaps in real-time, ensuring students receive targeted support without unnecessary pull-outs or disruptions.
  • Supports schools in implementing data-driven RTI (Response to Intervention) and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) by providing clear, actionable recommendations.

Schools serving large percentages of students from low-income backgrounds.

Title II

To recruit, retain, and grow the top talent of highly effective teachers in classrooms while providing professional development to principals and assistant principals in creating and maintaining improvements in student learning and instructional outcomes. The grant also works to hold accountable local educational agencies and schools in growing the effectiveness of teachers and principals.

  • Reduces time teachers spend on lesson planning with actionable, student-specific recommendations for instruction and student work.
  • Supports instructional leaders and teachers during PD and PLCs with actionable insights to better understand data and translate it into effective classroom strategies.
  • Helps teachers foster engagement and retention with personalized, standards-aligned content.
  • Enables administrators to understand which tools and strategies provide the best student outcomes, helping guide resource allocation.

Districts that want to recruit and retain effective teachers and principals, provide professional development, and even reduce class size

Title III

Ensure English learners of all backgrounds meet state academic standards of English-speaking peers through developing skills in English proficiency and academic achievement.

How to Use Funds for SyncEd

  • Supports English Learners through differentiated strategies specific to increasing English Proficiency and comprehension.
  • Integrates student performance data across assessments, allowing educators to track both English language progress and subject-area proficiency.
  • Bridges communication gaps between English Language teachers, general educators, and administrators, allowing for coordinated support plans for English Learners.
  • Helps districts track English Learners student progress in alignment with state English proficiency standards.

Eligibility

Schools that implement programs in language instruction designed to support students with limited English Proficiency. Schools collaborate with state and local educational agencies to increase the English proficiency and core content knowledge of students with limited English proficiency.

Title IV

To equip high-needs districts with programs that promote effective use of instructional technology, cultivate rigorous education for all students, and facilitate students in being safe and healthy.

How to Use Funds for SyncEd

  • Enables differentiated instruction, ensuring that students at all levels—including high-needs, ELLs, and gifted learners—receive engaging, challenging, and personalized instruction.
  • Transforms student data into actionable insights, helping teachers make informed instructional decisions without additional burden.
  • Supports holistic student success, helping teachers identify students who may need additional resources, interventions, or wellness support.
  • Seamlessly integrates with existing district technology (LMS, SIS, assessments) to maximize the value of instructional tools.

Schools collaborate with state and local educational agencies to improve student access to high-quality learning experiences, safe and healthy environments, and effective technology integration.
